In 1967, two gentlemen and I started Tech Plastics, in Bell Gardens, California. We specialized in extruding 1-inch layflat poly tubing to 12-inch layflat poly tubing.
A year later I separated myself from Tech Plastics and began designing and manufacturing two dual film lines and one single film line for Gemini Plastic Enterprises, Inc. (Our existing machinery company). We have extruded tubing as narrow as ½-inch layflat for specialized medical applications.
After many years, we still specialize in extruding narrow width tubing including LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, NYLON, and BLACK CONDUCTIVE. However, we now extrude up to 60 inches of LDPE, 16 inches of HDPE, 24 inches of NYLON, and 48 inches of BLACK CONDUCTIVE. We pride ourselves as being a custom manufacturer of film and bags and tackle problems that many of the larger companies refuse to address.
